Course Aim:
The course focuses on the professional management and marketing of sport and addresses the challenges of both the African and global sport industry. It aims at providing the student with the knowledge and skills to become a manager in the sport, fitness and wellness industry. The student is empowered with knowledge in sport management, sports marketing and exercise science at local, national and international levels. Commitment to academic excellence as well as an active involvement in sport will facilitate a successful career in sport management.

The Sport Management has a state of the art laboratory in which undergraduates will be exposed to the latest sport performance analysis technology, including isokinetics, biomechanics, metabolic function and muscle function. The facility offers post graduate students a wonderful opportunity to pursue research interests and projects (B.Tech and M.Tech Sport Management).
