POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MARKETING

Course Aim:
The Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing enables graduates and working professionals to undertake advanced reflection and development by means of a systematic scoping and analysis of current thinking, practice and research methodology and methods for effective strategic application in Marketing. This qualification demands a high level of theoretical engagement and intellectual independence, as well as the ability to relate and apply knowledge and skills effectively and efficiently to a range of Marketing or Marketing-related contexts. It further seeks to cultivate a higher level of critical strategic thinking, preparing students to be able to perform tasks that require increasingly more complex and abstract mental levels.

Admission requirements:
The minimum admission requirements applicable will be:
- Pre-HEQSF B.Tech Degree (NQF level 7) or Bachelor degree (NQF level 7) with major subjects in Marketing.
- HEQSF-aligned Advanced Diploma (NQF level 7) or non-HEQSF-aligned Bachelor degree (NQF level 8) with major subjects in Marketing.
- Any other formal and/or non-formal qualification with the appropriate NQF level Marketing as major field of study may be considered for Recognition of Prior Learning process.



Undergraduates
